Beltbreaker and your data
The game itself sends me nothing. There is no account and no sign-in, and your progress stays on your device. The Android version shows an ad only when you ask for one, and those ads, like the optional purchases, go through Google, who collect data of their own for them.

Who makes it
I make Beltbreaker and publish it through my company, Freesia - 2017 Ltd (Фрезия - 2017 ЕООД), company number (EIK) 204548462, Harmanli, Bulgaria. For anything about this policy or your data, write to me through the contact form and pick Beltbreaker as the project.
What stays on your device
- Your save game, your options and your high score boards.
- The run record the game keeps to spot edited saves: a few totals of what your current run earned and spent.
- On Android, the list of hull licences your Google Play account owns, so they work offline.
None of this is sent to me or anyone else. Uninstalling the app or clearing the browser's site data deletes it. A save file you export goes only where you choose to send it.
Ads in the Android version
The Android version contains rewarded ads from Google AdMob. An ad plays only when you tap "Watch an ad" for a bonus; nothing plays on its own, and you never need one to finish the game. The web version has no ads.
Google's ads software in the app only starts the first time you open the Bonuses tab or the game offers you a tow when you run out of fuel. If you never go near either, it never runs and Google receives nothing from the game. Once it runs, to serve and measure those ads and to prevent fraud, it collects data on Google's own terms: your IP address (which gives a rough location), your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers, how you interact with the ads, and diagnostics such as app start-up time and stability. I do not receive this data in a form that identifies you; I only see totals in Google's ad reports.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's consent form asks before any ad loads. You can change your choice in the game under Options, Ad privacy settings.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
- How Google uses this data: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, and the Google Privacy Policy.
Purchases in the Android version
Ship hull licences are optional purchases handled by Google Play. Google processes the payment; I never see your card or bank details. Google gives me an order record (order number, product, country and price), which I keep for refunds and for as long as accounting law requires. The game asks Google Play which licences your account owns, so a reinstall brings them back. Google Play's own handling of your data is in the Google Privacy Policy.
Why there are ads at all
Beltbreaker helps pay for the rest of my Bahuckel projects. That is the only reason it has ads and purchases, and it is why every one of them is optional: the game is free to play and will stay that way.
If the app is ever taken down from Google Play, for whatever reason, a version you can download and install yourself will be available here on this site, without the ads and without the in-game purchases.
Children
Beltbreaker is not made for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect anything from them. The game itself collects nothing from anyone.
Online high scores
Not built yet. If I add them, this page changes first, and only a score you choose to submit under a name you type would ever leave your device.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data I hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. From the game I hold none; for ad data, Google is the one to ask, through the links above. You can also complain to the Bulgarian data protection authority, the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
Changes
If anything here changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
