Own what you use.

I am one engineer building the software I wished existed: tools you run on your own hardware, with no company behind them to shut down, to sell your data, or to decide what you may say. When you install one of these, it is yours - the code, the data, the decisions.

Why I build this

We have arrived somewhere strange. The television listens. The vacuum cleaner maps the house and uploads it. The chat app you talk to your friends on reads the conversation to decide what to sell you, and its terms allow more than that. Every one of those products was free, or cheap, and the price was you.

I think a private conversation should be private, that saying what you think should not depend on a moderation policy written in another country, and that a tool you rely on should not vanish because a company changed strategy. None of that is radical. It used to be normal.

What that means in practice

You run it. On your hardware, in your jurisdiction, under your rules. There is no central service, so there is nothing for me to read and nothing for anyone to subpoena from me.
Nothing phones home. No analytics, no telemetry, nothing about you sent anywhere. Where an app reaches the network on its own - EDEXO's update check, for one - its page lists every request and what it carries. This website does not track you either.
It cannot be taken away. The source is yours to keep. If I disappear tomorrow, the software keeps running and anyone can carry it on.
I say what it does and does not do. If something is beta, it says beta. If a claim is not proven yet, it is not made.

A place to talk that nobody else can read.

I wanted somewhere to talk with the people I care about where no company sits in the middle - nobody to read the messages, nobody to sell what they learn from them, nobody to close the doors one day because the numbers did not work out. I could not find it at a price and a quality I would accept, so I built it.

Text, voice, video and screen share for a community you run on your own hardware. Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted. The server learns as little as possible by design: no email address to sign up, no analytics, nothing that leaves your machine. Run it on a box in your cupboard or on a small server you rent; either way, it is yours.

Know which part is failing before it does.

Fifteen years around physical machines taught me that hardware rarely dies without warning - it whispers first, in temperatures, error counters and logs that nobody reads until the day after. The tools that could listen were either priced for enterprises, sent everything to someone else’s cloud, or drew graphs and left the diagnosis to me.

It reads the sensors, disks, memory errors, fans and logs on a machine, correlates them, and names the suspect part - down to the slot and serial - with the evidence and a ranked list of causes. It answers offline from its own knowledge base. Nothing phones home; the free edition has no machine limit.

Smaller things I built because I needed them: a token dashboard for my own AI usage, and two companions for a game I play. They follow the same rules - local, no accounts, nothing sent anywhere.

Need something built?

I take on projects for a fixed price agreed up front - from a small store page to the kind of internal tool nobody offers at a reasonable price. Over ten years on the business side of software means I know what these things actually cost, and what they should. Small jobs are sometimes free. You own the result.
